Last week I had one of those weeks where I kept having little accidents - hence the 8 inch scratch up my left resulting from an incident with a barbed wire fence. Pre menopausal or pre menstrual? Not sure, could be both. Anyway I also managed to drop my virtually new bottle of MAC foundation all over the bathroom floor, having treated myself on a recent trip to Kirk's in Wellington.  As my self inflicted punishment I popped down to the Warehouse to pick up a cheap replacement, CoverGirl's Simply Ageless Foundation (the one advertised by Ellen Degeneres).  I have to say I am really surprised and impressed with this foundation - its very easy to apply with the latex sponge, gives great lasting coverage, and the colour (Creamy Natural) is one of the best I've used for my complexion.  I was even able to go to their website beforehand to match my MAC colour (NW20) with theirs. At the fraction of the price of MAC, this could become my new preferred foundation! 

Monday morning.....

Tried to have a good start to the week. Grumpy (husband) off to work in a reasonably good mood (must have been the nice coffee I made him), and got children to school at 9:00am exactly. Then a 1 hour walk with The Odd Couple (one chubby lazy food-motivated dog and one lean high energy work-motivated dog). A good start to the week although it did go a little downhill after that. Got back to the carpark and found I not only left my open handbag on the floor but also two windows wide open! All intact thankfully! Then got home at 10:30 for a quick coffee and then onto housework - its now 12:04 and my coffee is long gone and I'm still on the computer!!! Now for 4 hours of housework squeezed into 2!
